New Tretyakov Gallery

You can spend a day in and around the the new Tretyakov Gallery. It is half way between the Park Cultury and Octoberskya metro stations, and across from Gorky Park. The park has skating in winter and an amusement park in summer.  I liked the Rodchenko photographs and sculptures of ordinary people from the "Soviet Realist" period. The Gallery is set in a free sculpture garden, I decided that it was too cold to visit the Sculpture garden but will try and visit it in a couple of months when it is a bit warmer. All in all, I was impressed with the  New Tretyakov gallery.
