The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour

A Must Visit site for anyone in Moscow.
Just along the river from the Kremlin this Cathedral is an iconic sight.

Rebuilt recently after Stalin destroyed it was reconstructed exactly as it used to be. The inside is classic Russian Orthodox full of icons and painted walls.

The area around the church gives some great views of Moscow, be sure to go around and onto the pedestrian bridge as this gives some views of the Kremlin as well as the statue of Peter the Great.
